a darlin sunset
Hooray for a week of fun in the sun and a little reunion with some old friends. We arrived in Utila after a crazy crossed country journey that took about 12 hours and included 2 buses, a taxi and an hour ferry ride. Our first night we visited the amazing TreeTanic bar, which is really a huge outdoor work of art that you can also drink at. The whole thing took 10 years to complete and every inch of it is covered in shiny marbles, colorful glass, paint, knick knacks and other things that would be useless to try and explain because you really should see how beautiful it is for yourself. We met some old friends there which helped us to sink into island life after some hectic travelling weeks. After two days of relaxing we joined a scuba class and are now official open water divers. So all in all we saw some cool stuff, ate some good food and chilled with some cool people. And I learned about buoyancy! A+ Utila!
