A little slice of hell

Oh, San Salvador. what can I say...If I were to take a picture of this city, and send it to any one of my friends, they would have no idea that i wasn´t in the US. Burger King, Subway, and Mcdonalds dot every corner. Huge obscene malls create lung-clogging traffic. Billboards are in english, trying to take advantage of the general desire to look like an American. There is no trace of indigenous culture left here. We spent two nights here, trying to find the "good" parts of the city and just kept ending up in malls.
