My best friend and I decided to road trip from the suburbs of Chicago down to Savannah, Georgia to fulfill my wish of seeing the town that gave rise to "the book".

I love Illinois because it's not Indiana.

We drove back home today up 65 through Indiana. Although the trucks passing each other at 60 mph was pretty bad (especially in a 70 mph zone), my favorite part of the trip back was not being informed that 65-N was closed through Indianapolis. It was quite fun seeing everyone diverted onto 70-E and then immediately exiting and trying to figure out how to get back onto 65. Luckily it wasn't snowing, otherwise this part could have been a lot more fun.
