My best friend and I decided to road trip from the suburbs of Chicago down to Savannah, Georgia to fulfill my wish of seeing the town that gave rise to "the book".

Day 2 in the most laid-back and wonderful city I've ever been to

We went on a trolley tour today, which was a great value ($10 for 90 minutes!). I learned a lot about the city and all the old houses and all the stories behind the families. It was really interesting stuff, and I'm definitely going to read up on Savannah history when I get the chance. The best part of today is that we ate at Lady & Sons, and it was delicious!!!!! Super yummy. And we saw Bobby Deen in the store next door (see photographic proof if you don't believe me).
