TUESDAY: Went to GLOUCESTER to tour HAMMOND CASTLE & MUSEUM that was AWESOME! I felt like I was back in the UK! It was designed by American inventor Dr. John Hays Hammond. We got there before it was opened so we walked the grounds & inside was a self guided tour. It was big & we were ALLOWED to take pictures! The GREAT HALL was pretty & the COURTYARD featured an 8 1/2 foot deep swimming pool similar to what the ROMANS used & also had a rainfall constantly.

Then we headed to the wharf to do a WHALE WATCHING tour only to find it had been cancelled due to the rainy weather! Yes RAIN AGAIN! We ate at GLOUSTER HOUSE RESTAURANT then drove around & found HALIBUT POINT STATE PARK so we walked the trails & saw a pretty stone quarry. There were paths that led down to a beach with huge uneven rocks. It was desolate but nice.
