I had a wonderful trip to China but now I have arrived in Vancouver, BC and soon I will be flying to Victory, BC on Vancouver Island ... I'm going to visit with my sister and she plans to take me around this beautiful part of Canada ... I will be staying there from Jan16th - Jan30th, 2008 ... You must schedule Western Canada into your travel ventures and check out it; I didn't know it then but Botanical Beach, what a sight to see!!!

The surrounding of my sister's hometown are gorgeous ...

These old-growth trees are amazing!!

Today I feel much better ... I finally have had a great sleep and my sister let me 'sleep-in' ... flying over 12 hrs to Vancouver from Hong Kong followed by another flight to Victory, B.C.  ... it begins to feel rough ... 9, 10 flights and to return home in 2 weeks I'll need to get onto 3 more domestic flights ... there are no direct flights as each township I fly from is not BIG enough ... either way today the 17th of January, I get to enjoy the area around Duncan, BC ...

Wow, everywhere I look I see moss, moss, moss ... what a wet-land ... birds everywhere but the best ever I've seen is an Eagle, no many many many Eagles ... I loved being able to slowly and quietly, creep up to one Eagle who wasn't on the 'shy-side' but eventually he took flight, and glided to safety ... I still can't stop smiling, I'm just amazed at the number of Eagles surrounding me ... at least it's not a Black Bear, thankfully they're all still 'asleep' at this time of the year, never-the-less, I always was looking around me and checking out the paw-prints in the mud ... which happened to be a dog's paw print

You hit it on the nose ... the the outdoors ... while my in-laws suntan etc. you'll find me playing in the sand with my girls ... teaching my girls how to skip rocks, though Dan is better, fish, and just smell, feel, look at the scenery that surrounds me wherever I tour ... I do like skyscrapers etc. but nature beats that HANDSDOWN!!
