Ikebana (ηγθ±) Japanese Flower Arranging Show

Ikebana (οΏ½"οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½'θ±) "arranged flower" is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as kadΕ (θ―οΏ½οΏ½") or the "way of flowers". The Okinawan style of Ikebana assembles the flowers with three main themes or representations in each arrangement:
1) Earth
2) Water
3) Air
You can see these three themes in each arrangement, irregardless of the size of the arrangement. The entrance arrangement took 4 people to assemble.
This particular Ikebana (ηγθ±) Show was located in downtown Naha, Okinawa, Japan on Kokosai Street at the Mitsukoshi Department Store in a multi-story mall. Jenny actually knew a couple of the Ikebana flower arranging artists.

Helios Pub Microwbrew Comes to Okinawa
If you are walking down Kokusai Street in Naha and like beer, you have to walk right in to the friendly, helpful and delicious Helios Pub microbrewery. The authentic German-style beers and food, along with local Okinawan fair. Helios Pub is an excellent location for a brew and bite to eat while taking in the sights and shopping of the "Times Square of Okinawa."
We enjoyed the German spicy sausages with horseradish mustard, including the unusual 26" long sausage. The pizza and salads are also great.
For beer, Helios brews on-site and at a nearby microbrew facility 3-5 German-style lagers, including a Hefeweizen, Pale Ale, a dark stout and a blonde Pilsner.
They take credit cards (which many restaurants in Okinawa do not) and there is a projection screen playing old American classic movies along the back wall. The bar area is well-stocked and finished in brass.
Orion Beer is mass-produced in Nago, Okinawa but for a real microbrew taste, please try Helios in Naha--you won't be disappointed!
