Lessons in the morning. After lunch went in to FRiDAY’S yet again. In the mall there were budgies in a cage in the sun without any water and I gave the girl who was supposed to be looking after them some information about how to look after budgies. Must admit, I don’t like birds in little cages anyway.
I did some last minute shopping for tonight, like salad veggies and then caught a taxi back home. Before I get into the taxi, I asked how much? Five dollars. No, too much. I walk away and immediately the taxi driver says, four dollars. Typical situation. We both know that the fare is four dollars, but he thinks that I don’t know; blonde tourist.
I get the dinner ready. Mariana and Maria Jose don’t return until ¼ to 9 so it’s a rather late dinner and a bit heavy for that time of night, although it’s nice. I’d bought the closest that I could find to cream for the brownie slice, but even then it has a manufactured taste. The accompanying raspberries were very cheap and very nice. Mariana and I play some cards, but it’s late, so time for bed.
