Sunday...BBQ in Arequipa

I seem to have got into the habit of not doing much on a Sunday. I notice that Hewitt is playing Federer tomorrow morning 7 am Arequipa time, so I’ll wake up early to watch that.
The chairs and tables in the garden outside my room are nearly all taken as guests enjoy a lovely, sunny Sunday morning. This really is a very pleasant atmosphere and Armando is an excellent host and mixes well with the guests, always helpful.
Someone has just wheeled out a bbq. Then a tv appears. Plus it’s someone’s birthday. Many of the guests, including me, sit around in the garden and watch the European soccer final with varying degrees of interest. Spain wins which is good as we are barracking for Spain.
We have a bbq, I share a bottle of red wine which I bought at the supermarket yesterday. There’s a cake for the birthday girl and we all sing happy birthday. A very pleasant way to spend a Sunday.
The only sad note was that there was no tomato sauce.
By about six it’s getting cool so we disperse. I go to my room to watch tv and relax.
