A brief, but very nice and fun TB friend meeting :o)
This day started way to early for me. My kitten woke me up around 4 am, and wanted to cuddle. Then I couldn't really fall back to sleep, so I was kinda somewhere in between sleep and awake till I got up at 7.30.
Since I was ment to go pick David up at the airport at 10.30, I got myself ready and was just kinda waiting for the right time to go. Then I got a message from David at 9!! PROBLEMS... he had missed his flight, so he was in frantic about what to do. Found him a flight that would arrive at OSL at 3.45 pm. So instead of me heading off and have almost a full day with him, I could just slow down and do stuff around the house...lol
The clock turned 2 pm and I got myself ready to go. I stopped by my niece on the way, and said Hi to 3 gorgeous newborn kittens.
They're just 6 days old and all of them fit into my one hand. Adorable...
Ok.. back on track.. went to the airport and I had just crossed the street, as David walks out. Right on time for the both of us. LOL... He's a real nice guy and right away we start talking, and I don't think we ever stopped talking for the time we spent together. He's so easy to talk with and also quite fun. We had some good laughs.
Anyways; we drove into Oslo and I found a parkingspace that's actually free. Right outside where I used to live. We walked down to Aker Pier, crossed over by the City Hall and up to Karl Johans Gate. Took him up to see the Royal Palace and took his picture with the Palace in the background. Then we just walked down karl Johan and ended up at Peppes Pizza right at the end (or the beginning..lol) of the street.
As David is couchsurfing, he had made arrangement with someone, and we called them and arranged for them to meet us right across from Peppes. What we both had forgotten, was that David had his bag in my car, so we had to take the tram back up to where I parked and then I drove him down again. And with that ended my time with a real nice person. C ya around, David... :o)
