Cala Vadella. Our first stop in Ibiza, while we waited for our villa to be ready.

We had a horribly early departure for Ibiza - we had to get across London in time for a 6:15am flight.  Russ and Sarah, Craig and Bec met us in a cab and we were at Stansted airport by 3am.  The Airport "liquid bombs" scare was only a couple of days earlier - so security was nuts and the queues, huge.  However, our flight did depart and we did get to Ibiza.  We couldn't check into our Villa until 2pm, so we chilled for a few hours on a beach nearby, Cala Vedella and then moved mid afternoon.  Wow .. what a Villa!!  Everyone was amazed by the place - it was huge and very, very well appointed.  Couldn't have asked for more.

Eager to get the partying under way, Michelle and I set out with Russell, Sarah and Steve to meet Tony and Segal and watch Judge Jules playing a twight set at Cafe Mambo.  Once the sun was down and we'd had a few drinks we sat down for some Mexican food.  Then, it was on to Es Paradis for the Water Party.  The water came on at 5:30 - and by 5:45 we were adequately drenched and tired - it was time to catch the disco bus back to our Villa.  The sun was coming up as we trod in the door at about 7am.  Magic - our holiday was off to a flying start!!
