This morning we had a lie in again as check out was not until 12. We got ready and packed and then checked out. Mikay hailed a cab and it was only $15 to the Greyhound station, but Whitey still decided to take his bag on the metro, and he got to the station just after one of the buses went.

The journey to New York was about 4 and a half hours and we just slept and listened to iPods the whole way.... When we arrived in the city it was amazing to see Manhattan and we couldnt believe we were actually here. In the station we had to organise some way of getting to our hostel....NEVER SEND WHITEY TO CUSTOMER SERVICES! He came back with some African American guy who was shouting at us to hurry up and stay close, but White never actually told us who he was....We kept walking and walking until Mikay and i realised he must be walking us to the hostel! He took us on the subway which was a horrible first experience. It was not easy trying to navigate a very busy New York for the first time with 6 huge bags! We got abuse everywhere and then i heard this guy say it would be $25 each for his services...WHAT?!!? No way! We payed him for the train fare which he got and then an extra maybe $25.. we werent happy!

The hostel is good with a great games room, with table tennis, foosball and pool we have been playing quite a lot and it will be handy seen as we have so much time here! We played table tennis for absolutely ages and i am still unbeaten, winning 11-1 against Mikay. We then played doubles against some foreign girl and a lad from The Bronx, Bobby.

He said... 'Girl i'm scared of you and your 'power shots','

She said...'You're scared of me, you're from The Bronx i should be scared of you!'

He said....'Well.....we dont play that much ping pong in the Bronx....'

Might not sound that funny but it was HILARIOUS!

We are currently planning and trying to cancel our accommodation as it is cheaper to book online!
