Well, we're back in Sydney AGAIN and very tired. We did not sleep last night as there wasnt much point seen as we left the house at 3am to get to Avalon airport. Mick's dad kindly drove us the hour journey in the middle of the night before we said our goodbyes. Avalon is the worst excuse for an airport i have ever experienced. I have seen petrol stations with more amenities, although we did make fun of the staff doing official duties like making announcements over the loud speaker when they could have just whispered to the 4 of us waiting! We were very very tired and when we finally boarded we all fell asleep for the hour flight straight away. In Sydney we had to get a train to the city and then to Concord West as it was much easier than Marg coming all the way to get least we thought it was. It turned out that the train we normally get was cancelled just for today so we had to get a train to another station to get another train to Strathfield where we had to wait for another train to Concord. On top of all of that the train to Strathfield was delayed for 20minutes on the track! When we eventually got home, Rosie told us that Margaret was in hospital! The ladder she was up collapsed under her yesterday and she hit her head and her back badly. It turns out that she has damaged one of the discs and 2 vertebrae in her back and will need a brace. She might be out for my birthday but possibly not. The day was spent in bed mostly as we were so tired. For a couple of hours we watched A Night At the Roxbury which Amanda gave me for Christmas and which was very very funny. Then we slept again. Whitey next decided to go in the pool in the garden and did THE worst impression of Shamu ive ever seen....and i've seen a lot. This eveing was again spent relaxing because we have a long day tomorrow sitting and saving our place for the harbour fireworks, even though there are thunderstorms forecast for the day! I did manage to put all the latest pictures on facebook so again they are completely up to date and remember.....don't judge. P.S Thanks for the Christmas card Grampy and hope your foot is ok mum. x
