This morning we were supposed to be up very early but were quite tired after a late-ish night. we stayed in bed a little longer but it was no problenm as we were in no rush. After a beans on taost breakfast, i started the drive up to Hartley's Crocdile Farm. The drive between here and Cape Tribulation is in the top 3 in Australia and i drove half of it. The whole way along was on the beach and the sights were amazing, but the constant speed limit changes due to the bends was frustrating. The crocdile park was weird because there was a little own time but there was also a set plan for the day so you basically just moved from attraction to attraction. When we arrived we went on a boat cruise around wetlands with crocodiles and then watched saltwater and freshwaters crocs being fed...their jaw slaps were awesome. Then we had our picture taken with a baby crocodile before going on a crocodile farm tour. Farming the crocs is legal because there will always be a demand for their bodies so this is a sustainable way of supporting the industry. We finished by watching a snake show and having a picture with a python and then watching a croc wrestling show. The drive home was great again and then we went into town to get MIchaela's shoe fixed, have some more Dippin' Dots and buy one last present. I then dropped the car back at the car hire centre and ran back to the hostel. It was tiring but good and i jumped straight in the pool when i got back. Now i have just finished the $8 all you can eat buffet, tonight is BBQ, and am getting ready for a night out with the friends we have made from Leeds and Hull for our last night in Cairns.
