NOUVEAU A MARINELAND

Antibes Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

I have only been lucky enough to travel to France a couple times. One of my most life changing trips, and relaxing work-vacations I have ever had was to France though. I traveled to Aix-en-Provence for work; for what was supposed to be 2 weeks, it ended up being a month long trip that I will forever remember. How can anyone not enjoy a month in the Riviera paid for by work?

Its not much different than you expect at an Aquarium. The shows are all in French of course so if you don't speak it, just enjoy watching like I did.

There is a killer whale show, penguin exhibit, shark exhibit, dolphin show, etc.... Much like that anywhere else. If you have no other plans for the beach or the many other attractions available in South France, then this isn't a bad stop for a day of laughs and sea animals. The cost was pretty cheap from what I remember, but that was 7 years ago.

I was actually invited to go on this trip by my new friend from my hotel and his girlfriend. This was my waiter turned friend that I still talk to on occasion today. They asked if I would like to go and since I had no plans for the day... Having been to Marineland in America I thought why not see it with a European flair!

Ahhhh, this isn't so bad, hehe. Think of it as visiting an oceanarium full of marine life w/ French attitude!
