Rome in three days!
We read in our travel guide that it could be very busy in
So lucky we were that moment, so unhappy we were when we wanted to visit the
When we entered the museum the row continued. We walked in the neighbourhood of the same people as we did outside. It looked like a snake which was sneaking through the museum. Everyone followed everyone and when the museum spit out some people, it ate some new people. It was not my most memorable experience, we were packed like sardines. Luckily it was hot inside.
One evening we ate at a beautiful restaurant, but the staff was very bad. The owner was completely filled with stress hormones and he was the only a staff member.
He had to serve around 150 people on his own. At a certain moment he opened a little can of coke for me and the cola spouted out of the can right into my face. It was a strange experience, but we (and everybody in the restaurant) laughed a lot. It was almost a cabaret show. And the food was delicious, especially the lasagne. Jummy :D:D.
Our last evening in
It was a typical Italian restaurant. The son and the father were the waiters and the mother was the chef. The father was the funniest one, because he didn’t walk very flexibly. The first time he came to our table, he smashed the menu card on our table. My mum was shocked, but after a while we got sympathy for this old man. It was clear that the son was the big boss and that his father had to listen to him.
Everything was handmade and very very delicious in this restaurant. The best food I ate in my life.
At the end of the evening a group of old Italian men entered the building and we saw him directly. He looked like a mafia member, a sinister figure. A member he wasn’t, he only came to the restaurant to watch the football match of AC Roma.
A nice end of our little trip.
