Getting There - No "Wine-ing" Allowed!
August 24, 2006
Our flight to Bangkok was actually very comfortable. After sharing a
bottle of wine before calling a taxi, we arrived at BART and shared
another bottle of wine on the train! Suddenly, we spotted two police
officers. Then Chuck remembered all the cameras on the BART trains. So
we hid our bottle in our carry-on bag.
It was a good thing we had that wine because once we arrived at the airport in San Francisco, every single bar was closed! Our flight on China Airlines left promptly at 1:30 a.m. (very early Thursday morning). We both fell asleep before the plane even taxied on the runway. Unfortunately, we were awoken at about 3:30 a.m. for dinner.
