i really like singapore... the three big cultures (malay, chinese, indian) plus the expats & tourists make this city so interesting and colorful. even though locals complain about singapore being boring, it's probably the most interesting place outside of switzerland to live your 'boring' life.

food is excellent, infrastructure is great, groovy nightlife, most beautiful girls in asia, regulatory environment is fantastic, people are nice, it's clean & organized...

it's easily got the number 1 spot of places to expat to for me... i'm checking the challenges of immigration at the moment. while they are open for 'foreign talent' and it's even a very simple process to start a company, getting things approved and getting a work permit can be a bit of a hassle it seems. might have to go through a multinational which simplifies everything.

i really like the space constraints of singapore, it's an island, surrounded by water and causeway into malaysia. everything is close.

the internet entrepreneur community seems to be lacking behind other developing countries and is just about to take off with singapore being an excellent base for the asian market.

i've also met mirko, a former acn colleague that i've met in vienna, who is living & working in singapore which was another great source of input.

i'll probably spend another few days in singapore when i'm back to check the opportunities around here and meet up with as much people as i can.
