Detailing my fiance and my trips while he works as a floating manager for the Rock Bottom Brewery.

Dan's finally got a day off!

Today's plan: National Zoo and possibly the art museum at the Smithsonian

The zoo was Great! This was probably the best zoo experience I've ever had. The exhibits were all really well done and informative. The Amazonia building was the best. Its like walking through a real life rainforest. Monkeys were swinging freely above us while birds were feeding in the bushes beside us.  Incredible. There was so much to see and do that we spent the entire day there. After we caught the metro back to the downtown area we stopped into Legal Seafoods for dinner. One word...WOW! This place was fantastic. I ordered the dinner special which consisted of swordfish, tuna, salmon, shrimp, scallops, and lobster over pasta. Yum! I'd never had swordfish, lobster or scallops before so not only was it tasty, it was a new experience for me. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day!
