Map... if there were no ppl i would take this one with me;)
We landed in Manila
... and had 7 hours for the conecting flight to Taipei, that was good coz i wanted finally to see Manila and Philippines. RJ was freaking out on my suggestion to have a ride to town and walk a bit and then come back to the plane. He wanted to stay all the 7 hours at the airport, but it wasnt a smart idea and at the end we just took taxi to Baclaran - locals know what's Baclaran, but if u come to Manila - never start there ur trip ahahahhaha
At first the taxi guy didnt take us to the place that we ordered - which was the metro rail station, we had to walk through some weird streets, pass by the Baclaran church (some kind of famous?) and then we got sucked by the crowd. Me like a white shit on the dark pavement - everyone was starring at me, and i know why, nobody whos IQ is higher than the regular french fries would go to that place being white! at least i was told that several times by pinoy ppl.
LRT1 - Baclaran i guess
But we survived and got to the metro train (here called LRT1) I couldnt waste such a great opportunity to ride this system and i don't regret! It was a good lesson. In the train the "white shit" was even more visible in the dark crowd and RJ pretended to look harsh to avoid robbery (i think, it was overreacted, there were just simple ppl, going to work, why should they robe?). We rode the line to the Central and back to Baclaran, then i was asking the station staff about metro maps, but they didnt have any. With other adventures - which u can see in my Asia blog - we reached by jeepney the airport.
