Actually - we wanted visit only Köln - which was a really good idea, cuz the city is beautiful and has so much to offer for travellers. But since we had some free time - after visitting Köln = getting on the top of the 'super b' cathedral, drinking the local beer and making other stuff - we went on our way back home to Wuppertal
(which is not that far away). I must admit, that i've ALMOST forced my mates to go there. I was talking about this great monorail (suspension railway should it be called i read somewhere) in Wuppertal for few days now, so they had no such power to avoid this 'sight' - just because of me:D:D:D. We came to our another friend living in this zone, who leaded us to the 'hanging-railway'.
this is crazy - without us;P
It looked so amazing, so different and unexpected - i would say so 'unreal' that my friends said just "WOW! Oh gosh! - You has been right! it's wonderful! Great!, Cool!" - and many other words of 'coolness' which i don't know in english ;) but every one was happy to see this wonder of human mind.
We was in no time at all (of course !) on the train and we were 'hanging-away' over the heads of residents below us. I had a feeling - i were a Batman or so - flying over the streets and over the river (LOL). The 'Schwebebahn' (it's the german name for the railway) is very old (it was built 1900 and was taken into service in 1901) and It's the oldest monorail system on earth! Nevertheless it works pretty good, and in the whole history there were some small accidents but only one fatal accident, when people died (5 and some 47 injuried) after falling down into the river.
