Why dont you learn from the old mistakes?

Almost all LRT systems in States and Canada made the worst mistake - they are independent from the other traffic in the suburbs and run on streets in downtown. Only Edmonton put wisely its line underground in the city center. This is the way it should be done. Unfortunately overseas dont care about it and Denver has its downtown line in the middle of the streets, running slow. Only the lines that end in the Union station have their own corridor in almostwhole route.
At the second day in Denver, after having visited some sites using public transportation (both rail and buses) we decided to rent a car for some adventures outside of the city. The plan was to see some mountains and make some hikes since Colorado has plenty of places for those things. We booked the car online and were lucky that the rental is just few steps from the West line station. As we went there we couldnt find the agency. Such adress didnt exist. We called them and tehy told us - they had moved. Not far - just one station further west. One station isnt that far, but in the suburbs they are at a bigger distance one from another. As we finally reached the car rental the lady told us, they moved 3 years ago, but the internet site didnt change the info - although reminded several times. Ok, since we got a better deal as a 'im sorry' - we were no more angry. Off we go Colorado!
