Water on tracks
January 4, 2009
Valencia has a system of 3 lines which usually go out of the city to the far suburbs. What was curious about its metro was water on tracks in one station - Guimera - it seemed to be usual things there, but still looked a bit weird. Is it always so? I have no idea. The other weird thing were the tickets. We bought 3-day-pass and we could use it both in metro trains, on trams and buses. And it worked excellent until the last day of our visit in Valencia.
We could still use it in metro - the gates opened every time - but on buses the validator signalized to the driver that our tickets were no valid any more - which was of course a lie! (hm... when i'm thinking about that right now - i might know the reason... it's because RJ was traveling with me - and as u might know ... hahaha ... only 50% is true ;)))
Back to the main topic. fortunately the driver didnt bother to check the tickets and let us always enter the bus. GRACIAS VALANCIA_BUS_DRIVERS!!!! :)
