We arrived to Kaohsiung from Taipei via taiwanese high speed train (wow, that's cool train, if u go to Taiwan, u should try this - there is no doubt - so ubercool when fields and villages pass u so fast buy - maybe i should write an entry 'bout that?). Anyways... Then we changed to metro - brand new metro - at Zuoying station. The first what we saw was those ads or art stuff, muscled men pics with cut off faces, to put yur own there. Of course we wanted to take a picture. RJ was at first like shy and made the face: "well, i'd love to but will Grzechu say im a kid?" ahahhaha but then both of us took that pic.
When we were going with Sisqoo to the night market - again by metro (i can't sea any reason why we should use bus or another transportation mean;), so at some point the train stuck between stations - (i know that happens so often on all metro systems around the world, and it's nothing 'special' - but listen what was next). It took quite a while and there was this voice-anouncement about some break, so that ppl dont get mad (the anouncements are made in Taiwan metros in some 24 languages - in fact its only 3 - taiwanese, hakka and effinglish - was it there maybe the 4th one? mandarin? i dont remember now). At the next station the same situation happened again. The train kept staying and again the anouncement. At another station the whole repeated again. It was so annoiyng, coz we would have walked faster probably. They didnt say the reason for that 'weird behaviour' of the metro train. Then we continoued finally the normal ride.
