Skytrain not always in the sky, sometimes under the ground too

Skytrain-old

For some reason we crashed in the suburbs for the first night. I dont remember why. Maybe because we didnt get rooms in downtown for the first night? Anyway the good thing about it was that the hotel was close to the Skytrain. We left the car at the parking lot and hopped on the train. It was the destiny - i suppose - to confirm all the (a bit) irrational conserns of Doug about public transportation. As we were in the train an (obviously) crazy guy was walking around the train and screemimng at the people. Doug tryed to be smaller and soon he could totaly disapear if we wouldnt have change the carriages. Usually such people are in every town, some crazy but harmless, all you have to do, is not to look into their eyes. Avoiding all the eye contact makes you usually not interesting for them.

As always - with the map
They just seem not to be able to see you, as if you were invisible - or at least only a part of the un-living environment around them. So as we were laughing because of Doug he became moere and more scared. Then finally we got off. He offered us to pay for the taxi on the way back from town, but we refused. Skytrain is way more fun. And of course nothing bad happened. Doug will keep his opinion about trains and buses as dangerous places. You might not believe but that was his third train ride after the first and second made on Chicago 'L' last month. He lived his whole life and never was on the train! My God! I didn't want to believe that at first. Then i had to do that, after i saw his weird and funny behavior. ;)
