Praha - metro "Ukoncite prosim vystup a nastup dvere se zavirali"
Cheatted as well. I was on my trip to Wien/Vienna, but the bus driver had to rest for 4 hours (because of his work time bla, bla, bla - you know - they have their own rights how long can they work in a row). So we planed the stop in Praha/Prag. It was in the evening or better say night - from 22 till 2 in the almost morning. We wanted to stop somewhere in the center but we couldn't find parking place for buses (lucky we, that we didn't get lost, since we haven't got no city map or something (guess who was the chief of this all trip? hahaha -sure, it was me!) but with my sense for finding right ways we got a place to stay for the bus over a night a bit outside of Old Town - just few minutes from metro station - and here beginns the adventure with Prag Metro.
I ordered 4 hours off for all 47 people, explained them how to go to the Old Town and back, when they should come back again and so we left. At the station we couldn't find any ticket machine so the order was: it's to far away to walk to the town - let's cheat a bit! and all the 47 persons got in, rode to the >>Staromestska<< station then got off and disappeared in the narrow streets of Prag. Just imagine, what could happen, when there were somewhat like inspection - hahaha 2 or 3 inspectors and almost 50 mates without tickets!!! They had no chance with us. But even if they were there, we didn't see them - and good for them! In the city center - as we wanted to go back to the bus after visiting Prag at night, eating czech specialities and having fun together - we found a ticket machine!!! And as we tryed to buy a ticket - a nice czech women helped us, cuz we didn't know which ticket to choose, in which fare zone was our final station and so on.
Me at the old station
but the thing that we enjoyed most was the anounsment at the stations, which sounded for us so hilarious and funny (czech and polish are very similar, and that's the reason why we laugh when Czech people are speaking and the same - they laugh when we are speaking - we can understand partly but sometimes it's THAT funny) So the announsment was something like that: >>Ukoncite prosim vystup a nastup, dvere se zawirali<< - which means - "stop getting in and off, the door is about to close" We had to laugh at every single station! And that is end of the story. :P
