Inside train

Japan is the world capital of monorails - still, coz other countries started to construct this type of rails like crazy (i.e.: Brazil or China). So as i knew that Kitakyushu is just 20min. by shinkansen from Fukuoka i couldnt skip it. By the same occasion i joined RJ for his way back to Tokyo. We took the same train, coz it was on the same route. Then i let himcontinue his ride and i got of in Kitakyushu. I took the monorail till the last station. If you have the time try to do the same. From above the look over city is very nice, as it bends between the hills at the end of the line.

Pity they dont plan to extend the line or add another one. That could be pretty intersting to have a metro system build only with monorails. Btw. In chinese city Chongqing they have 3 metro lines consisting of monorail lines, but now they added a regular steelen metros to its system.

On the way back i wanted to walk a bit and got off at the second last station before railway station. That was alos the reason why i missed my train back to Fukuoka, or.. even worse, hopped on the train To Tokyo, which was the opposite direction and ended up in Hiroshima. Kind of odd adventure. but it was ok, since my buddys in Fukuoka had more time for shopping - that was borring ui guess!
