Milano - darkness
December 28, 1998
It's the biggest of the italian metros at all, and it grows so there is no way that other cities in Italy could get larger system. But... it's very black metro, not even 'dark' but 'black'. It's because the pavement is made of something black. Besides it seems to be full of every kind of garbage on the platforms and on the tracks as well. At the Porta Vittoria station (interchange between M1 and Passante=urban rail) we found a nice corridors and made some stupid things, i don't know any more what this was supposed to be. I think we got just bored. The funny story is, when we were plannig to go to the Villa Pompea (Line M2) - some one has said: this has to be the famous Villa Pompea destroyed by the volcano Vesuvio - but no one of us thought that we were in Milano and not Napoli some 800km south, where the Vesuvio is.
so we rode to the station (and it's far away from the city - where the metro still operates) got off and... were disapointed so much, hahaha we should better have listened in geography classes!

I had 1 hour to my train to Genova. So i wanted to go to the station and easy byu the ticket and if there would be still some time - maybe drink cup of coffe. I got in to the metro line MM3 at Duomo - to Centrale there are no more than 7minutes of ride. I was talking with my friend and suddenly he had look at the line map above the door and said: this is the wrong direction! - so as fast as we could we got off changed the platforms and went back - now in the right direction - it was sure i have still some time - but not that much if there should be large queue at the ticket office - we got off at Centrale and ran up to the station - only few minutes left to my train depart - and ... i got the last ticket for this train!!! LOL - i was lucky again! hahaha
