Madrid

This was a four-days-long-metro-travel-trip ;) = [one big metro ride!]
I planned the visit in Madrid a long time ago. Two years ago i was in Andalucia (southern Spain) and i almost managed to get to Madrid ... ALMOST :/ So now i was more than happy!
This was my dream! To see, to know, to be surrounded by this beautiful 'system of darkness'! Metro de Madrid was the most impresive one in the world for few last years, cuz it was growing like crazy, like no other subway system! (for now it stopped a bit, but other cities are speeding now: the whole China - like Shanghai and Beijing <-- that's why i'm plannig to go there as well! hahaha).
I had only 4 days to know the city and the metro. And i love this city! Oh boy, it is THAT good, THAT beautiful, THAT crazy!!!! I love the Metro as weel, even if it is not such beautiful, not that much  modern looking. I love it for the extensivity and the fact that it covers almost every borough, not for the design (avarage: nothing special, but on some stations you will see some excellent ideas - how to give an underground station the unique and local character - and i'm thinking here for example about  stations: Aeropuerto or Planetario)
The funny story about the metro isnot really mine but my tavmates: i was their leader through the Kingdom of Darkness (=metro, if some one doesn't get it ;) - so they didn't pay any atention where there were going, which direction, which station or line. I cared about that stuff cuz i like it. But one night - as they wanted to go to bed, and i wanted to discover another line and borough so i said: Let's splitt in two groups. I 've told them how tu use the metro map and where to go. some 2 or 3 hours later, as i came to our hostel - they said me, they got lost undrground. hahahahaha. Since they are big enough to ask other passangers - they got by and re-found the way home. Besides, they have problems with gates avery second time we used the metro - it must have been something wrong with their tickets.
