Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia ---> SKM
May 1, 2005
Not a real metro but more the urban rail transit or even suburban rail (like RER in France, Cercanias in Spain or S-Bahn in Germany). It is the backbone of the transportation system in Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, and takes u fast from one to another city of the agglo. In Poland we have several official holidays in a row at the beginning of may: 1. May - it's as everywhere the same, so we have it too, 2. May is the day of the national flag, 3.May is the day of the first polish Constitution. So may is always full of free days, and sometimes we got a really long weekend at that time.
This was also the reason for a trip to '3-city' (as we call those 3 cities mentioned above). Just to move our a... and see the sea. Of course if there is not much cold, some people try sometimes to swim - as for me, i always do. :D:D:D this time wasn't different.
