Barcelona - the widest metro in the world

Maybe the best metro for summer time (and for some people it doesn't matter which season is it now). You are taking ur towel getting in (but first - remember - buy ur ticket! :D:D:D) and you are riding down the hill to the beach. Then you are getting off, to the street level and ... there is the sea in front of you! This was, what we did, but not in the summer, it was 31.Dec.2000 - the last day of the 20th century (yes, the century ends at this day - in the year 2000, not 1999 - even if mass media called the last year of century one year too early - they just were ubsent on history classes, when they should learn when centuries beginn and when they end).
People were looking at us, and their eyes seemed to say:
'wtf are they doing by going with the towels in the middle of winter toward the beach!'
And u know what? They were not at all wrong. We were something crazy! The sea temperature was about 12 C - but for us it was so sunny and warm - we just went into the water enjoying it so much in the winter!
In Poland we got snow and it was freezing a lot at that time and here in Barcelona we could walk without jackets, scarfs and gloves! For us was a regular spring time. So, what's wrong if we were swimming. hahaha.
As a matter of fact - the water was much to cold for spending more than few minutes inside. That's why we made it several times: went into the water and then back out - to warm us with the towels. The Spaniards in the beach were shaking their heads, and for us it was really fun! Then with wet hairs and towels we went back by metro to our home on the hill.
