Warming Up--really the track was warmer than the stands

Bad news first: SG was injured too much to run her 300H well for one last time as a senior.  Not how I wanted things to end for her.

We miscounted BR's number of events and therefore the boys 4x400m relay was disqualified and missed out on a state berth.  (Now looking into an invitational since they aren't ready to be done for the year)

Good news: The girls finished third from last in the rankings, an improvement over SMAC.  KC qualified for state with a PR in the 800m and a win in the 1600m.  The 4x400m relay also picked up a point.

The boys finished in the upper half of the teams.  MA qualified for states in both the 100m (4th place after a bad start) and the 400m (first time ever running it as an open event and he got 2nd!).  He was very pleased with the 400.

KH advanced with a 4th place finish in the discus.

AC added to his 3200m victory from Thursday with a win in the 1600m and an advancement in the 800m.

The 4x100m relay finished 5th for two points.

Q earned 5th in the 800m.

JW set a PR in the 300 hurdles.

It stayed warm and sunny all day :)  We stopped at Chik-fil-a on the way home.
