DAY 3. 10:25PM
Well, it's a Wednesday... and Yuefan and Alan are suppose to work today in downtown. What does that mean? I get to venture off into downtown and finish up my meetings with TD Waterhouse and interview with ABC!
We woke up around 7 AM to get through downtown. Once I got off, I needed to grab a bagel and hot coffee since the temperature outside was below 15. After that, I rushed to the nearest newsstand I could find and grabbed a newspaper, since I was missing out on some of the current issues. Also, I had to kill some time before the interview at 10AM.
For some reason, I was incredibly hungry... so I ran to the nearest McDonalds I could find... and I wolfed down a Big Mac with large fries. I guess the severely cold weather really worked up an appetite for me.
I also realized I was sort of late for my live interview, so I rushed to the central square as fast as I could. From what I could remember, I was freezing cold... and they wanted me to say a few words about what was going on in my life and what brings me down to Chicago. After killing time in Borders and heading off to my meeting with TD Waterhouse, I ventured off into the Sears Tower and took a short tour for leisure. Also, I had to kill time until Yuefan got out of work. The view from the Sears Tower is always an interesting site to see... because you can see the entire state from all angles. From a tourist viewpoint, if you ever stop by Chicago... make sure you head on over to the Sears Tower and take pictures.
So I've been hearing about this place being famous for its deep dish pizza, so me and Yuefan decided to head on over to Giordano's, who claims to be the best in Chicago.
We ordered an incredible amount of pizza, and my appetite froze after eating only four pizzas. Yeah... weak I know, but this walking around in the freezing weather made me go insane... and also because of McDonalds that I mentioned earlier. Also, I learned something interesting. In the heart of downtown Chicago, you'll notice that DePaul University is scattered throughout the entire city. I found that very interesting, because if I had to go here... I'd be totally lost.On a good note though, my life in Chicago has been nothing short of exciting and thrilling! I'm gonna end it on that.
