Coronado Beach is amazing

We drove most of the day from Sierra Vista to San Diego. I had initially used Onetravel.com to reserve accommodation at the Hilton Hotel, but that did not work out. The hotel I reserved had workers on strike so the whole hotel lounge and reception area was full of people including press members. We decided to cancel the reservation and go some place else. While Mark drove us closer to the beaches, I got on the phone and called Onetravel to see if they could get us another hotel closer to the beach. The representative on the phone took about half an hour before calling me back to tell me that they could not get us a hotel closer to the beach, the option they had for us was next to Sea world which was the opposite direction of where we were going.
We arrived at Coronado and decided to get accommodation at one of the hotels at the beach.
The hotel included breakfast, beach chairs and access to the resort beach front. Ultimately, we had a wonderful time at the beach, unfortunately we did not swim due to the temp of the water.
