Amstel Botel Hotel Amsterdam

Amsterdam Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

We all know that backpacking through Europe is an inexpensive way to travel. But as you get older, you want a little comfort and tasty food.
Fun, Affordable Lodging
The Amstel Botel is a unique and affordbale place to stay in Amsterdam. It is near the train station, and a 10 minute walk from the the main cultural sights in Amsterdam. Although you are on a boat you don't really feel as if you are on one (which is useful if you visit one of the city's infamous "coffee houses"). But the views from the cabins are nice and the rooms and bathrooms immaculate. The Breakfast provided was very good, nice variety and a nice bar to socialize in during the evenings. A perfect place if Amsterdam is but one of many stops on your itinerary since it is so close to the train station.
