Treeve Moor B&B. An old favourite
First stop was supposed to be M5 services at Bristol
but we both needed conveniences, etc so stopped at Michael Wood instead. He's always a favourite. Start as we mean to go on - coffee & pastries
Next stop Bideford. Had sandwich at a 'green' cafe sitting outside in pedestrianised area waiting for it to rain. They forgot to bring our cups of tea! Wander through shops where Rob bough ajug from Art Deco antiques shop & I bought a new bed for Millie Dog from pet shop where I went to look at the rabbits. Both of us true to form!
On to Land's End. We had the usual warm welcome form Liz at Treeve Moor. Feels like an old friend - her & the house - but no cows any more in the field! Not the same without. The local backpackers hostel has changed managers and he is known to be a bit of a trouble making drunk so that didn't sound like an option for dinner any more.
Did our familiar walk over the fields to Sennen instead for dinner at the Success Inn circa C17th and sat perusing what Sennen must have been like back then. Pretty lonesome and bleak should think.
Checked out the garage where car's being car-sat and called on niece Estella 7 Paul. Enjoyed homemade carrot cake, homemade cinnamon ice-crea, homemade elderflower champagne and looked at their homemade earthernware! All lovely
