Meeting Toto at Boulder Station
OMG!! This was probably one of the best nights of my life!! I had gone with a friend to see Toto play at Boulder Station in Las Vegas and he managed to score front row seats! I should advise he is probably the biggest Toto fan I've ever met - right down to his personalized license plate!! LOL.
Anyways, this was the BEST show and I was so close to them which was like a dream come true! I took a lot of photos during the show but unfortunately many of them did not come out due to the lighting. After the show we hung out as they sometimes they come out to meet the fans and sure enough, this night was no different! They recognized my friend Lance as he's seen them there numerous times. He introduced me to the band members and we got to chat and take a few photos!!!
This was an awesome venue to see them perform as some others they do not come out after the shows. The last time I saw them in San Jose at a winery, they were checking pockets and purses for cameras!! :-( I missed all their NV and other CA shows in 2007 as I was in Europe for three weeks while they were touring locally!!! Uuuggghhhh
The So Korea show is April 5th 2008 and is rumored to be their last show for a while so they can take a break!! I can't believe I am going for my birthday and will get to see them live in a foreign country!!!!

YBR plays Friday and Saturday nights at the Railhead in Boulder Station which is a fairly long jaunt off strip. But trust me, they are worth it! And the best part - FREE!!!
I'm still yet to hear of a night when they aren't completely packed! If you hope to grab a table, you'd better get there by 10pm or so. These guys are incredibly talented and very popular with locals and tourists alike!
They were just voted by the Reader's Pick for Best of Las Vegas in the Lounge/Tribute category and last year they won the critic's choice award. After seeing them perform the first time, I completely understand why!
Just a tip - although they pretty much play every Friday and Saturday, it's still always best to check their schedule beforehand to ensure they are not on a break or performing at a different time due to a special event. For example, they have a Pink Floyd Tribute show coming up in early May that is $15 and kicks off at 8pm!
Can't wait to get back to Vegas and see them again - classic rock rules!!! LOL :-)
