Well waking up in Singapore is defiantly a reason to get out of bed. I slept so well, after my rubbish day yesterday and when my new friend wanted to tag along for some sight seeing, it was all good. We firstly went for breakfast with this Australian Dude, and I say dude, meaning its real word, Camel dick, because he creeped me out. And after a little while when Vanessa got out her tub of Vaseline to moisturize her lips and he commented that every good girl should carry Vaseline, I knew i was right.

We ditched him quite quickly after this, and begun our tour towards central Oxford Street, where we stopped at Tourist Information and picked up loads of information and free samples for food. Before heading back to Little India, to pick up our boarding stubs from our flights so we could catch a Hop on Hop Of bus ticket for only 6 dollars. Bargain compared to the 32 dollar one. It took us around central Singapore, and stopped at the Fountain of Wealth and The Singapore Flyer. After taking the 30 minute ride round in a circle, overlooking all the sights, and seeing as far as Malaysia, and Indonesia, we headed back to the us line, to catch the next bus to the Merlion, one of Singapore's most famous landmarks, before walking through China Town to catch the bus to Sentosa, the Holiday Resort Island for Singapore.
Fountain of Wealth
Its connected by various ways, road, cable car and train and is the southernmost point of continental Asia. It is defiantly a tourist district, with loads of rides and things to do, all at a cost, but had stunning beaches that backed right into the shipping lanes, of the other side of the breakwaters. And as the evening wore in there were loads of couples having wedding photos done on the beach in front of the sunset. We headed back to the main point on the island, where we brought our tickets to watch the evening water show, named Songs of the Sea. Mainly a musical piece, but with water, fire, fireworks and lights all dancing in the air to music. It was fantastic and left chills when it was all finished and quiet again. But amazing to see. I wanted to stay and see the 2nd showing really, but we had hoped to get the last bus back from the train stop that would allow us to get the bus around to the west side of Singapore, but we had missed this and ended up catching the train back to Little India, and climbing into our beds exhausted at the end of our long walking day.
Fountain of Wealth, Vanessa and I
Vanessa and I talked about if we should go out for a drink, as the Ministry of Sound, was only 5 minutes away in a taxi. We hadn't really made up our minds, until I heard the familiar voices of Matt and Rob outside in the corridor. We said our hellos and I introduced them to my new friend, lol, before we all decided to clean up and for for a drink at the local before catching a taxi to the Ministry. Once there it was fantastic. Matt had to go and buy some shoes first as he was wearing flip flops, which he seamed to blame on me. Apparently he asked me to ask the pub if flip flops were allowed, and I didn't hear him, but apparently I had said yes. I told him as soon as we got there I hadn't heard him and wasn't talking to him earlier, and even so, I don't know the rules in Singapore, I've never bloody been.
Fountain of Wealth
Not to mention, Mr Fantastic, does it all the time in London, where as I have never been to the Ministry in my life, so why should I know any more than he does. Anyway he went shopping to find some shoes, whilst Vanessa and I went in and began having fun. It was a good half hour before Matt and Rob came back, and soon after we were knocking back shots and having a dance and some fun. I got a bit annoyed as the night went on and so started dancing by myself and left the others to it. It was later on Vanessa came found me, and we were dancing together on the podium in the middle of the dance floor, when the music stopped and we made our way outside. Only for the boys to be seen nowhere. And when we asked the guy on the door he insisted that they had left a good half hour or so before us. So we decided to continue our party on our own and made our way to the Living Room at the Hilton as invited by two guys and it was once we were there we decided we were too tired to do this, and headed back to the hotel. Once back we dropped straight into bed into a heavy slumber until the guys woke us up the next morning.
