Deurne - Uden

After a night with a lot of wind we started our final part of the route. Our bodies were tired from the many kms we had cycled and our legs had planned a protest. Luckily they didn’t.

In the afternoon we entered the Netherlands and some things became different. For example the road signs were more organised and every 50 meters a picknick place and a wastepaper basket is waiting for you. This is very funny to see, because the last 19 days we hadn’t see many wastepaper baskets and little benches to sit on.

Before I knew it, I was back in Uden. And I was happy to be home again. They were 20 amazing days and I was happy to see my family again.

My family almost didn’t recognise me, because I was tanned by the sun and my hair was almost white from many periods of sunshine. Luckily, they were also happy to see me and they missed me also.

Otherwise I would have cycled off, back to France again. Grrr…Haha.
