i was planning for a 2 weeks trip from athens to istanbul, but i had to shrink the time to one week. and so i could only visit 1/2 of my course. it was a busy trip, but the scenary of those ancient sites saved me from fatigue.

a night before flight
About 3 minutes walk from the airport terminal, and it is the only choice if you want to stay near the Athens airport. A single(double) room was 215 euros/night.

wow, what an adventure! actualy you could use the bus from Syntagma. The X95, which runs 24 hours a day, 30minutes before night, and 1 hour interval before morning. the reason that i used the hotel was that i had two hard walking day on Rhodes, and so i didnt want to get inside the city and go out again.

We had the same choice... and chose to get a taxi at 4 AM from Athens... and he was nodding off at 100 miles per hour.... so he opened the window and froze us but we didn't say a word....haha... then David told him we aren't in such a hurry and he slowed waaaaay down..... but he was almost asleep so we let him... oh, yeah.... we got there safe but wished we had paid the 215 Euros....
