Skiing in Fugen

After a 8 hour drive we arrived in Fugen in the Zillertal. The slopes were green on one site and we didn't like the look of that. After checking in the hotel we had a drink and something to eat. We discussed our options and asked about the skiing conditions. They told us to go to Hoch Fugen or the glacier of Hintertux. We rented our skies and decieded that we would have a few beers and go to bed early. In Hochfugen the snow was good and lucky for us the second day it started snowing  and so we could go skiing on Spieljoch. The gondel went up straight in front of our hotel and from here we came on Spieljoch. Every morning we went up early and the surroundings on the pistes were wonderful. In the evening we enjoyed a good meal in the hotel (Kohlerhof). The whole week was all inclusive and we were really spoiled. The food was delicious and there was a lot to do inside the hotel. They had an indoor heated swimmingpool, solarium, steambaths, sauna, wellnesscenter etc etc. We enjoyed our week there very much and we will definately return to this beautiful hotel in Fugen.
