One night in Bargara

Bargara Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

Don't exactly travel overseas alot, actually never (unless you count my move to Aussie from N.Z?). Moved to Australia from N.Z in 2005 and have lived here ever since! Great weather, people, lifestyle. Have to put up with the occasional sheep joke, but I have learnt how to give back just as good! :) I have posted some photos in this blog of some favourite spots in New Zealand (South Island)

One night in Bargara

posing in our new luxury apartment. 'Bargara Resort'.
All I can say is one night in Bargara is definately not enough! If we had known it was so beautiful and peaceful we would have stayed a week at least! Sam and I stayed at bargara resort, an absolutely luxury choice! We were treated to stunning ocean views. (see photos and you will know what i mean :)
Bargara was warm enough to go swimming- even in the middle of June!
Walking along the esplanade was fantastic, it is beautifully designed with picnic areas and play areas for kids. Cafes, restaurants and your good old fish and chip shop can be found on the esplanade, awesome al fresco dining, great atmosphere!
Bargara boasts all of this, yet it is still a very quiet, relaxed, non commercialized spot. Perfect for families, couples, and those who dont like the hustle bustle of say the Gold Coast.
I will definately return here! Dont tell too many people though, we dont want it to turn into another surfers paradise! ugh! :)
