Singapore - Day 3

This day was reserved for Sentosa Island.
We took a taxi to get to the Mount Faber, the cable car station on the mainland. The ride on the cable car offers nice views, but if you're used to go on cable cars when you're going skiing it's not too spectacular ;-).
When you buy tickets for the cable car you also get tickets for different shows and attractions on the island, like the butterfly park, dolphin show and so on.
As we arrived on the island, we were forced to get on a bus, which would show us the main attractions of the island.
We stopped at the underwater world which offered fascinating views and information about the sea and their inhabitants. You can walk through a aquarium tunnel and see the fishes from all sides.
We stopped at Siloso beach to take our lunch at an Italien pizzeria, which offered delicious oven-made pizza. Don't forget your trunks!!
After lunch we visited the 4D cinema, the largest of south-east asia. It's quite expensive and short (just arround 15 minutes) but is fascinating. You get 3D (or 4D) glasses you have to wear during the show. Pirates try to steal a treasure of a nativ boy. If the pirates get punched, you feel this as the seats start to shake hard and if they're getting wet, you get same splashes of water directly in your face as well. That's entertainment like in the USA ;-). A really recommendable show!
The dolphin show is fascinating as well and lasts arround 30 minutes.
Nature walk & dragons trail
During this 30 minutes walk through rainforrest you see many different animals (dragons, snakes, insects, ...) and plants which are explained well. It's nice to pass and to breath the fresh (but even hot) air.
The island offers a cost-free bussystem. You can get arround by using the bus to many different stations. They are reachable by 4 different lines (sorted by colours) which are circling arround in short intervals. That's easy to navigate.
If you get a bustour for your first visit offered, don't take it. It's too expensive and doesn't help you to get more informed about the island and last arround 2 hours which you can spend even better.
After walking a bit more across the Island to explore it, we took a taxi to get back home to our hotel to relax.
