The Peak Tram going precipitous upwards.
As the weather was even better that the past days, we decided to visit the "highlight" of Hong Kong, the Peak. We started our journey at the Star Ferry Pier to get to the Central Station. There we walked across the Financial district to the Peak Tram station (right behind the Bank of China Tower). The ride up took us 10 minutes and was very steep. First you pass by all the skyscrapers and suddenly you're in the jungle and you can breath the fresh air.
After reaching the hill station at over 500 meters you're standing (once again) in a shopping mall. You can buy things on 4 or 5 floors. The visitors terrace is located on the top floor. There you have a marvelous view over the HK island and Kowloon. This is really impressive.
After this we left the shopping mall and walked along the "Hong Kong Trail" which is a hiking trail (only minimal raisings) arround the peak, for arround 1 hour which offers you once again nice views over other parts of the city (can can see the southern part of HK island as well).

This was our complete day schedule as we had to leave Hong Kong for flying back to Good old Europe.
