Hong Kong - Day 3
Today the weather was a bit better (the rain stopped for a few hours) so we took the chance and decided to go to Hong Kong Island. In the morning we took a Star ferry from Hung Hom station to Central District station. The ride took arround 5 minutes and is very cheap (HKD 2.20 per person).
From the station we started walking arround in the Central (Financial) district and passed all this hugh and high bank skyscrapers, as you see on the photos. We passed the HSBC building, Citibank Plaza, Bank of China Tower, Lippo Tower, Hong Kong Park (really recommendable), Pacific Place shopping mall, Hennessy Road, Wanchai Computer Center, Hopewell Tower (Revolving 66 - A revolving restaurant on the 62th floor with stunning views of the city). Then we headed to the western part of financial district (exchange square) and some small alleyway. During early evening we took a Star ferry back to Hung Hom and found our dinner inside a shopping mall. As it was dark when we got outside again, we took some shots (see below) and went back to the hotel. Now our feets are hurting and we have to chill out a bit to have enough energy for tomorrow.
