Boracay Escapade'08

Having a trip schedule is so excited but its too long to wait. I always count the days goes by and imagining the time will come soon. It was late last year were the company i work with decided to have a company outing and i recommended Bora. Thanks God, the recommendation was accepted by the management. Three months was too long to wait but now its done!!! and it seems were only just dreaming for the 4 days we spent there.

March 16, 2008 departed at Mactan Int'l Airport boarded 5J flight. The flight was not chartered by us but all 125  passengers boarded were exclusive by our company. Arriving Kalibo Int'l Airport we traveled by land of almost 2 hrs to reach Caticlan and 10 mins by boat from Caticlan-Boracay island. It was my 5x there in Bora but mostly my colleagues were first timer.

Since it was my birthday that day, i was took advantage to celebrate there (hehehhehe a big bonus for myself). My colleagues were so busy took some pics and were tired of never ending smile for the pics (hehehhehe). Since we arrived almost night there, everybody was busy to go around and experienced Bora night life.  There were many live bands there in the shore and Bora is a perfect for nightlife and i find out that mostly tourists there are comin from Western countries. There are  lots of resort and restaurant there to choose from highest to lowest rate, it depends on the budget. There are also lots of souvenier to choose and its affordable.

March 17, 2008, since its a 4 days trip, we find it hard to sleep. We morning the night.

Me and my friend woke up so early at 4am to do joging in the beach since its a wide shoreline and white fine sand. Its nice to walk w/o wearing slippers to feel the finest of the sand.

Next activity was parasailing ( cost USD 60.00 / person for 15 mins minimum of 2 persons.) it was my first time to do it and it was fun and excited. Over the parasailing, i saw the overlooking view of the islands and  i felt the fresh air over the sky.

Next was Banana boat ride ( cost Php 250/person for 15 mins minimum of 5 person)  it was excited when the jetski was in full force to make us away from the banana boat and fell down the sea. We shouted to the max and no voice afterall ( hehehhehe).

Next ride was Paraw sailing ( cost suppossed to be Php 325 / person minium of 4 person but down to Php 100.

00 since we got many package there), its a small boat that sail the ocean thru the wind. Its the best for lovers and honeymooners. When you ride it you can feel a total relaxation and its nice to lie down in net. Its best to do it at sunset coz the boat has no covers for sun rays, and its nice to ride it while seeing the sunset.

March 18, 2008, it was a free day, all of us have diferent destinations in the island, but for me, i woke up again at 4am, just walking along the beach, making my name in the sand and i made it. Me and my friend went to other side of Boracay and we found out that the other side was calm and so peacfeul, perfect for those who dont want crowded places. I remembered only 1 resort there and its called NAMI resort. Its best for swimming with no disturbances. 

So now im back home, just relax and waiting for my work schedule on March 24. HAPPY TRAVEL MY TRAVBUDDIEs!!!
