We left this morning with a special bus. A bus from Kings dune riders. Why special... I tell you later. The first stop was at Manginangina: The Kauri forest in Puketi. Then we bought our lunch in the Ancient kauri Kingdom. We found there a lot of beautiful products made of kauriwood.
Then the trip went to the very North, Cape Reinga. There we had a view over the both sea's who are coming together there. It are the Tasman Sea and the South Pacific Ocean.
Cape reinga is called the most north place from New Zealand. But they say that that is really the Surfille Cliffs on the north cape.
We could walk aroud the hill for the lighthouse, but of course we went over it. While taking a picture of me I forgot my sunglaces.
Then is was time to have our lunch. We drove a little bit south and we stopped at a beautiful bay at Tapotupotu. I had my lunch when I walked to the sea. There we changed to our bathing suits and we had a swim. The wather was a little bit cold and wild, so swimming was not possible, only catching the waves. A lovely place to be!
