After a good breakfast we did pack our backs and walked down to wait for our boat who would bring us back to Picton. Before this the owner Ron took us in his boot to show us a little bit from the surrounding waters. The big boat came at 10:15 and left with all of us. It took us 1,5 hour extra to get to Picton, because it loaded and unloaded several suitcases at several places. Even our tourleader didn't know that. We had a quick lunch now in Picton and left for a long trip. We had a few fotostops on the way. We passed towns like, Inangahua, cape foulwind and charleston. At 6 pm we arrived in Punakaiki were we took a walk along famous pancake rocks and the blowholes. It tooks us another 30 minutes to drive to Blackball. We stayed in: Formaly The Blackball Hilton. It is a very small town with only 370 people and one Hotel :). It was an old minetown. The hotel has small rooms, small isles and small bathrooms. But everything is very clean and the owner and her staff are very kind persons. First we had a drink, and after this we had a buffet-diner. The rest of the evening we stayed at the bar and had a few drinks.
