Owned by the same parent company as Einstein's on the other end of the same block on Juniper Street in Midtown Atlanta (Metrotainment Cafes), Joe's on Juniper is one of the best "burger n' wings" type tavern places I know of. Another staple of the Midtown crowd, Joe's exudes a more casual atmosphere where shorts, t-shorts and flip-flops are definately more acceptable.
The menu is really what one would expect from this type of establishment - a well-tried selection of signature burgers, wings that can be spiced from mild to nuclear, tavern fries (dusted with parmesean cheese), and the host of other bar food items that will make you bust your gut from overeating.
Joe's has a great patio for having a beer after baseball or riding bikes in the park. TVs galore. And on certain nights of the week when the weather's nice you'll even find trivia. But get there early! The Midtown gay boys take their trivia seriously and seats are hard to come by if you aren't a regular.
