My country and my city

It is logical that praise to my country, but Bolivia is a country little known, with a great potential for tourism and for all tastes.
We have 1,098,581 km2 of territory and only 9 million of habitants with a large territory with a large percentage of tropical territory.

Bolivia is more known for its mountains and cold weather due to the altitude of “La Paz” seat of government, my city with 3,600 meters above sea level in the downtown, but with ranges from 3,800 in the part of "El Alto" and 3,200 in the lowest part of the same city.
On the one way in one hour overland trip across the mountains, we are in a tropical climate, which connects us to the departments of Beni and Pando, passing through "The Yungas."
On the other way in one hour we are in the "Titicaca Lake", and depending on the way, may be the side that going to "Copacabana" or the side that going to "Tiahuanacu," both near the border with Peru.

On the other way, we went into the "Altiplano" road to Oruro, a mining area, the large "Uyuni Salt Lake" or the historic cities of Potosi and Sucre in Chuquisaca.
Finally we can connect to the main valleys Valley of "Cochabamba, where we can continue to the south, again to" Sucre" or toward the Valley of "Tarija" and if we continue to the east we going to "Santa Cruz de la Sierra" in the department of the same name.

Es lógico que alabe a mi país, pero Bolivia es un país muy poco conocido, con un gran potencial turístico y para todos los gustos.

Tenemos 1.098.581 Km2 de territorio y solamente 9 millones de habitantes con un gran porcentaje de territorio tropical.

Bolivia es mas conocida por sus montañas y su clima frío debido a la altitud de su sede de gobierno, mi ciudad “La Paz” con 3.600 msnm, en el centro de la ciudad pero que va desde los 3.800 en la parte de “El Alto” y con unos 3.200 en la parte mas baja de la misma ciudad.

Por un lado en una hora de viaje por tierra cruzando la cordillera, nos encontramos en un clima tropical, que nos conecta a los departamentos de Beni y Pando, pasando por “Los Yungas”.

Por el otro lado en otra hora de viaje estamos en el “Lago Titicaca”, y dependiendo el camino puede ser el lado que va a “Copacabana” o el lado que va a “Tiahuanacu”, ambos cerca de la frontera con Perú.

Por otro lado salimos hacia el “Altiplano” camino a Oruro, a la zona minera, al gran “Salar de Uyuni” o a las históricas ciudades de Potosí o Sucre en el departamento de Chuquisaca.

Por ultimo podemos conectarnos hacia los valles principalmente el Valle de “Cochabamba”, de donde podemos continuar por el sur a “Sucre” o hacia el Valle de “Tarija” y por el este hacia “Santa Cruz de la Sierra” en el Departamento del mismo nombre.
